Sweet Ballz went into the Shark Tank asking for $250k for 10% equity. All the sharks loved the product, and all made offers creating a huge shark fight. Initially Lori, Kevin and Robert all made excellent offers individually. Then Mark and Barbara teamed up for much lower 25% equity proposal, which inspired Robert, Lori, and Kevin to collude as a team and make the same offer. It is rare to see all sharks so interested in making a deal. In the end Mark’s connections to food service, arenas, and theaters may have pushed them over the edge, and Sweet Ballz went with Mark and Barbara.
