Recognizing the strong regional association between sweet tea and the word “y’all,” Darien settled on the perfect name – Y’all Sweet Tea.
In the early days, Darien and his team traveled to pumpkin patches, festivals, and farmer’s markets, serving their freshly brewed sweet tea from the back of a truck. They quickly realized that while customers raved about the quality of their tea, a mobile setup was not the most efficient way to scale the business.
In 2020, Y’all Sweet Tea underwent a major transformation. Darien created a custom blend of black teas that perfectly complemented the family’s secret recipe, and the company overhauled its branding and marketing approach. Recognizing the power of social media, Darien leveraged influencers like Facebook star Brenda Gantt to help spread the word about Y’all Sweet Tea.
Today, Y’all Sweet Tea is available for purchase in gallon and half-gallon bags, both in caffeinated and decaffeinated varieties. The company also offers a delightful selection of flavored teas, including Georgia Peach, Snazzy Razzy, and Strawberry Splash Bash.
