ReadyFestive Subscription Holiday Decorations

ReadyFestive is a subscription box service that delivers personalized holiday decorations for your home or business.

They offer 14 boxes to choose from. You can subscribe to any or all, with a minimum of 3 boxes per year. There are 4 seasonal boxes delivered each Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter, and 10 holiday themed boxes for Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas, and New Year’s Eve.

Your subscription is completely customizable. First, you’ll take the ReadyFestive Questionnaire to pick your style and product preferences. Then, you’ll choose your holidays and seasons and the box size you want for each. You can mix and match box sizes across holidays/seasons. For example, you can select the Mini box for St. Patrick’s Day and the Deluxe box for Christmas. A mini box contains 4+ items, Standard Box has 6+ items, and the deluxe box has 9+ items. You can pay upfront (and save 10%), or you can pay as you go and be billed as your boxes ship.

Every ReadyFestive box is unique and personalized for you. Your boxes are based on your Questionnaire responses, as well as the items you select in your holiday/seasonal box surveys, which are sent prior to shipment. ReadyFestive sources from makers large and small, with the goal of finding the most on-trend, quality decorations and festive items.

• Kids crafts (holiday appropriate crafts to keep the kids busy!)

ReadyFestive in the Shark Tank

Entrepreneurs Liz Voelker and Kristina Barnes went into the Shark Tank seeking $250,000 in exchange for 10% equity in ReadyFestive.

Mark Cuban, Barbara Corcoran and Kevin O’Leary all dropped out from the negotiations, believing the business’s current size did not justify the investment. Lori Greiner went so far as to say ReadyFestive wouldn’t benefit from a partnership with a Shark.

Robert Herjavec saw some potential and proposed an investment of $250,000 for a 20% equity stake in ReadyFestive, cutting their valuation in half. Eager to secure a deal but seeking a more favorable equity position, Voelker and Barnes negotiated with Herjavec. Ultimately, they reached an agreement of $250,000 for 18% equity. This compromise allowed the entrepreneurs to secure the funding they needed while reducing their equity dilution.
