Daniel Lentz, founder of Aquapaw, LLC, was the official family dog bather when he was growing up. He didn’t mind; he simply thought it should be easier. Daniel had his “AHA!” moment when he was in college. He worked on prototypes on and off for years, and by the time he was employed as an industrial designer, he had a finished product. The Aquapaw Pet Bathing Tool is a water sprayer and scrubber all in one for a faster, gentler bath minus the wasted water and wet mess. The ergonomically designed Aquapaw has little rubber nubs that both spray and scrub. Strap it to your hand and adjust it according to the size and shape of your hand. A button in the center of the scrubber controls the water flow that comes from the nubs. Simply opening and closing your hand allows you to toggle easily between on and off. Both hands are free to control your pet as you soak, scrub and rinse its coat.
Since the Aquapaw allows the water to get deep into your pet’s coat, rinsing is more thorough and definitely faster, and there’s no more spray that disturbs your pet. You are actually massaging your pet as you scrub—the rubber nubs feel really good. It’s a win all around: You save time and effort, a plus for both you and your pet; your pet isn’t anxious; it’s great for water conservation; and instead of you and your pet being engaged in a power struggle, you both have a valuable bonding experience.
You can use Aquapaw indoors or out. Either way, it’s a quick and easy set up. Connect the flexible 8-foot-long hose to a garden hose or a shower (including a handheld shower attachment). There are adapters for both included in the package. The light weight, 13 ounces, also contributes to the flexibility and convenience.
