Fishing is one of the most popular outdoor activities in the U.S. and in many other countries around the world. And why wouldn’t it be? What better way to “get away from it all,” whether you are communing with nature or bonding with your family (especially your children) or your buddies. It also fills a seeming essential need humans have to pursue and catch. True, it’s the challenge, the process, not the catching of fish that is important, but, really, isn’t better when you have fresh fish to take home. The Animated Lure is here to help you with that.
The Animated Lure is the first lure that attracts fish by looking and moving like a real fish. The lure has real-fish swim patterns and a segmented tail that swings continuously. The lure also pauses at intervals and changes direction. Perhaps the most remarkable element of the lure is the natural-looking paint colors and attention to detail that is unparalleled among other lures.
The body of the lure includes an electric motor that drives a little propeller on the nose that pulls water into a passageway and expels it on either side of the lure to move the fish through the water in a nonlinear path without any reeling or special technique required from the angler.
The motor is driven by an easy-to-charge battery. The cable is included in the package. Attach the red (positive) alligator clip to the metal ring on the top of the lure. Attach the black (negative) alligator clip to the first hook ring on the bottom of the lure. Then plug into a USB outlet.
There are three models of the Animated Lure: Mini, Classic and Salt Water.
- The Mini is 2 ½ inches long and weighs about ¼ of an ounce. The 16 styles of Minis include: Golden Shiner, Bass, Carp and Rainbow Trout.
- The Classic is 5 ¼ inches long and weighs 1.7 ounces. The 17 styles include Golden Shiner, Bass, Trout and Salmon.
- The Salt Water is 8 ¾ inches long and weighs 5 ¼ ounces. The 6 styles include Mullet, Sardine, and Herring.
