The company was founded by Jay Cutler, an IFBB professional bodybuilder who won the prestigious Mr. Olympia title 4 times. Originally from Sterling, Massachusetts, Jay spent his early years working on his family’s farm. He started training as a bodybuilder at 18 years old while also working in the concrete construction business.
In addition to launching his peanut butter company, Jay has had an extensive career in professional bodybuilding. He first turned pro in 1998 and then went on to become Mr. Olympia in 2006, 2007, 2009, and 2010. With 6 runner-up Olympia finishes, Jay holds the record for the most second place finishes in Mr. Olympia history. He has been one of the top professional bodybuilders in the world for over a decade.
Jay drew on his passion for health, fitness and nutrition to create quality peanut butter products for dogs. He partnered with fellow bodybuilder Brandan Fokken, owner of Fokken Nuts Peanut Butter, to develop the recipes and get Jay’s Pet Butter to market.
