Boo Boo Goo was created by six-year-old Kiowa with her father, Emmy award-winning actor and amateur inventor Andrew Kavovit. Kiowa never liked ugly band-aids, so she came up with the idea for a paint-on bandage for cuts and scrapes that came in several colors. Kids loved “decorating” their boo-boos and were distracted from any pain. Kiowa was also helping to save the planet from non-biodegradable band-aids.
Kiowa made a deal with Kevin O’Leary and received lots of publicity, but they were unable to fill all the online orders. Customers received full refunds and a promise for free product once they were up and running, but that never happened.
Boo Boo Goo is no longer in business.
