You Smell is a vibrant luxury soap brand made with organic ingredients, that is a breath of fresh air in an often snooty marketplace. This self-indulgent, moisturizing, vitamin infused soap is available in fragrances like Lemon Verbena and Lavender Mint. They also make a paper wipe for freshening up on the go.
Aside from appearing on Shark Tank, You Smell Soap was also featured in US Weekly. The creator of You Smell went into the Shark Tank asking for $55k for a 20% share of the company. Mark offered to invest at that price, when Barbara jumped in with an offer for a higher 40% equity plus a 10 cent royalty. Robert offered to come in for a $55k investment plus pay the entrepreneur a $55k salary, which inspired Barbara to drop her equity ask to 30%. In the end, You Smell took Robert’s deal.
UPDATE: While You Smell Soap creator Megan Cummins got a deal on air, it fell through after the show. Megan sold the business to another investor but the website is gone and the products are no longer available.
