Brett Maiolfi and AJ Crook’s first business venture was the first-ever company to offer affordable, small-batch, craft-style dog food with a personalized subscription service. They knew what was needed to produce premium, flavorful meals; what they learned along the way was that dogs get tired of eating the same meal over and over—no matter how good it is. Just as we do.
Brett and AJ then launched Shake it Pup, a complete line of seasonings that punches up Cleo’s food without using unhealthy freeze-dried toppers that are ineffective and expensive or table scraps that start her down that slippery slope where she spurns dog food entirely or without changing her diet completely, which could then bring on digestive issues.
Shake It Pup is 100% human-grade with locally sourced, all-natural ingredients, including free-range, grass-fed, hormone- and antibiotic-free meats; cage-free eggs; and key nutrients and supplements. There are no preservatives, chemicals, GMOs, allergens such as wheat and soy, fillers of any kind or artificial flavoring or colors.
Shake It Pup is handcrafted in small batches in Southern California and will enhance whatever you feed Brutus: dry (kibble), wet, freeze-dried, or even home-cooked meals.
