M3 Girl Designs was a line of bottle cap jewelry and accessories presented by 15-year-old Maddie Bradshaw and her family. They had success selling online and in retail stores, and several products become popular like their Snap Caps magnetic interchangeable pendents. Although M3 secured an investment on the show, they later faced legal issues after claiming several companies were infringing on their trademark, despite not having a trademark or patent. While some of the businesses they sued chose to settle out of court, they did have at least one trial where Maddie’s claims of inventing the bottle cap jewelry designs were called into question.
