Tom Kanemoto and Lance Yabut rent out spacious, comfortable photo booths for private and corporate events in California and Las Vegas. A Pink Shutter technician sets up the temporary, high-tech booth with touch screens, Canon Digital SLR Cameras, high-speed photographic printers, and props, such as outrageous hats, Mardi Gras-type masks, huge glasses, colorful boas, and anything sequined. Guests go into the booth and create an instant memento of the event. Barbara invested $300,000 for 33% equity.
Barbara worked hard with Tom and Lance to grow Pink Shutter into what it is now: a leader in the photo booth rental business in Los Angeles, Sacramento, San Diego, Las Vegas, New York, Dallas, and Honolulu, and sure to spread throughout the country. Their booths have been used at high-profile events for Hulu, NBC and Dreamworks. They also added the Speedway Photo Booth with the same technology but with a booth built for a quick setup. Tom and Lance take “pink” seriously. They donate 5% of their profits to Beast Cancer Research.
The Pink Shutter is no longer in business.
