Vestpakz, a vest with pockets in the front and back, was created by 6th grader Christen Bell while looking for an easier way to carry all her school books. The patented Vestpakz design distributes weight more evenly than a traditional backpack and is more comfortable to wear.
Before appearing on Shark Tank, Christen has already secured several impressive business partnerships including a licensing deal with backpack company Eastport and distribution through Walmart. Vestpakz also appeared on Oprah’s million dollar idea challenge.
Vestpakz is no longer in business.
