Each year 10% of all gift cards go unused. You may have one or two tucked away yourself. Maybe it’s not convenient to go to the store’s location to use the card, or perhaps you haven’t found anything you needed. Gift Card Rescue can turn those unused cards into cash. Just go to their website, enter your gift card information, and they will tell you how much they will pay you for it. The payment is typically 65-70% of the value of the card, and can be transferred into your PayPal account within 24 hours. Gift Card Rescue also resells those cards at a discount, typically 10%, making it the best place to buy your cards in the first place. The creator of Gift Card Rescue went into the Shark Tank asking for $150k for a 30% share of the company. Kevin offered $150k for 50%, Robert offered to partner with Kevin and come in as a team at a higher $200k for half the business. The proposal was accepted happily.
